This article will help admin to configure settings for jobs, candidates and employers. These settings include following; 1- Settings for (Jobs, Candidates and Employers) to be published directly OR after Admin’s review/moderation 2- How to configure packages for Jobs, CV Search and Featured Jobs? 3- How to add custom fields for Jobs, Candidates and Recruiters (Employers)?  

1. Settings for (Jobs, Candidates and Employers) to be published directly OR after Admin’s review/moderation

If you want to post jobs directly and register as candidate’s and employer’s with out admin’s approval, navigate to admin side and visit plugin settings from:

Jobs >> Settings >> General options >> others

Here you will find the switches for job, Candidate and Employer. Turn these switches “ON” to allow direct publishing of submitted jobs by employers without review / moderation. If this switch is OFF, jobs will be published after admin review / moderation. Same are the options for both Employers and candidates.

Once done, click save all settings and all is done!

2. How to configure packages for Jobs and CV Search?

Follow the steps to configure packages for jobs and CV search from the plugin settings. To add Job Credit package: Navigate admin side and visit plugin settings from: Jobs >> Settings >> Select packages. Now, set the Job Credit package option to add packages for the jobs. Click “Add New Package” button to add package, a pop up will open and will allow you to add package specification’s. You need to add

  • Package title
  • Package type either (subscription or single submission)
  • Select featured option (used for front-end styling) as Yes or No
  • Description about the package

Click on Add new package to add it on your site.

To add CV search package: Navigate to admin side and visit plugin settings from:

Jobs >> Settings >> Select packages

Go for CV packages option to add CV packages for employers. Click Add package button to add package, a pop up will open and will allow you to add package specification’s. You need to add

  • Title
  • Price
  • No. of CV’s
  • Expiry date
  • Description for that package

Click “Add package to list” to add it on your site.

To make a Job Featured: Featured” is another precious feature offered by JobCareer theme that will help you attract more candidates to click on your job postings. It also includes “Featured” tag over the job. You need to add Featured price, text and payment text here at:

Jobs >> Settings >> Packages >> Featured Jobs

3. How to add custom fields for Jobs, Candidates, and Recruiters (Employers)? Following custom fields are available for jobs, candidates, and employers. 1. Text – Custom field to add text field 2. Text Area – Custom field to add Text area 3. Drop Down – Custom field to set dropdown options 4. Date – Custom field to add date 5. Email – Custom field to add date 6. Url – Custom field to add any link/URL 7. Range – Custom field to add Age/ Range
